In Print....

Caz's crafty moments have made it into print finally!!

For if you look in the current issue of Scrapbook Inspirations you'll find some of my handiwork in the Reader's Gallery! (available for browsing in WHSmith, other magazine shops are available...)

I've known for about 3 months that it should be in that issue, but as it wasn't certain I hadn't told the craft night girls ... but it only came out last monday so we'll see what this week's meeting brings!!

The Layout (aka page) was of a foxglove (I think) in the garden of the Mr Straw's House from when we were up in the Lakes on a Scogui trip a few years back. Its a nice way to enhance the many nature photos Dr T & I take without filling loads of photo frames. I'm rather chuffed, it was something a bit more than my usual fairly graphic style (aka Simple Scrapbooking) but I rather like it, even if in print it was done as Portrait when its actually a Landscape! It looks fine either way really! Also it was only the 2nd layout I'd submitted, so maybe I'll try again and see where it goes ....

But at the end of the day I find this a really good way of relaxing me, when things have got a bit stressful, a bit of cutting and designing means I calm down easily & quickly and get great pleasure from it, even if Dr T moans about the space it takes up...
