LHS update

The left hand side has been partly updated, although not quite complete.

I've added something that might interest any of you who are looking to increase the money coming into your units or charities you support.

We signed up the Brownie Unit with Easyfundraising a while back to use on subsidising trips and things we do as a unit. We've also gained a scout group on referral which has also helped with the fundraising (you get a percentage of the funds they raise, but they don't loose out).

So if you want to bring in some money to your units follow the easyfundraising link on surfing to section and that clicks in the referral (well it should do!).

It all trickles into the fundraising. Easysearch has worked well for raising funds when searching, although not quite as good as google it at least raises funds on your more basic searches, particularly when sponsored links are used. Another bonus of this is that you don't need register to raise money on this option. If registered it soon tots up as around here we have Amazon, flybe, national express (I got 25p in the pot for my whole £2 funfare return to London the other week), thetrainline, novatech, John Lewis. Plus there are some other companies that we've gained money through although they are the main ones we're likely to gain from.

So take the plunge and get some more money for your units, after the gift aid has rolled in!
