Doughnuts ....

‘tis my birthday tomorrow, but as I’m escaping the office (and indeed the country) for it I’ve brought the office cakes a day earlier (also due to my bigger boss having his birthday next week, to spread the cake consumption). Included in this bundle of cakey goodness were some doughnuts… which brings me onto an amusing quip from last night with the yellow blobs…

We have a yellow blob with a nut allergy (aka nut brownie), who started the night off well by ending up with the PH poster for ‘The Nut Room’ to draw/ paint (which she found amusing…. Of all the ones to end up with! They’d picked them out the toadstool for selection). Then at the end I was asking her about her nut allergy (for a forthcoming trip) whilst waiting for her mum who was late …. LOL she said she was allergic to peanuts, but not sure on other nuts but OK with coconut & doughnuts! It rather amused us at the time ….
