Hrumph

My workload has rapidly increase for Monday in the last 10 minutes, from a meeting held on Wednesday afternoon. Why decide to tell me you want a load of info at 1635hrs on a Friday for Monday (lunchtime at that! There was one point where she seemed to be saying to do it all tonight until she realised it was Friday afternoon!)? You see aforementioned person sauntered up to my desk this morning at 0930hrs ish and said to pop down in about 5 mins once they'd sorted out their coffee etc.; 5 mins later (and 30 & 1hr and silly time later as well) person is sorting out other stuff with collegue located in the section (she'd obviously ponced when perosn was at desk. So as I do still have a job to do and some drawings to get to site sooner rather than later I went off to site, came back sort out site related stuff perosn wasn't at desk when I'd walked past. Finally came over at 1635hrs having realised I'd not had that chance to chat to her about the job. She also fails to observe that I'm doing cover at the mo so have others work to keep an eye on as well as I'm only meant to be doing 2 days a week for them. Let's just say I'll be releved when this bit of work is done, its useful that people tell you deadlines in the first place, and then tell you them with a realistic timeframe.

Looks like a 0730hrs start Monday (same happened last week due aforementioned person) to get it done anytime near lunch.
