.. It's OK I'm still alive, still on this planet, just busy all last week hence a lack of update on the blog!

For for your enjoyment 'What I did last week'

I spent the first half of the week with my Guider hat on at various meetings. Then when I thought I might escape to something exciting (archery .. hence me meeting with an arrow wasn't the reason for the lack of blog) I had a phone call to sort out the annual gas safety check which was this morning hence manic tidying!

Then arrhh and relax after a drive up north after work on Friday to spend quality time with Dr T. We drank beer & cider at the Lufbra Beer Fest, had a meal out (the last of the £5.99 lloyds platters ... italian is still the best) before heading home for a certain A&E drama we both like to watch. Then Sunday was spent sleeping and generally vegging in the morning before properly getting up to watch the repeat of the Oz GP, interspersed with the Robot Wars Final (most excellent, and the reason Dr T did welding at night classes and wants a shed), then Time team before heading south once more (and a bit more tidying).

Today at work was truely a Monday! Fav person was particularly annoying and is acting in a way that I have to raise as its unprofessional and certainly is not the same as he treats the others in the office. I was rather p*ssed off for the majority of the afternoon by his actions which have been coming to a head again. Now I've calmed down I will approach my proper team leader and raise these issues as he asked me to at my apprasial (as he knows what tricks fav person likes to get up to).

This week is a bit calmer with the usual events in the programme and the addition of a District meeting (which could potentially have some interesting moments).

Mind you my landlord looking at my rather dodgy floor has lead to an interesting development in the 'living in sin' proposal due for the summer as the flat upstairs (which is a tad larger) is becoming free and solves the flat hunting and floor coming up probs.... I'm currently awaiting Dr T's response. But is it the shortest distance anybody has moved? Up about I'm guessing 15 steps... Watch this space.
