Another day, another few pennies are earned. Another day and yet another delay to my current Amazon order …. This time it’s the bit for me that’s added onto the delay so 1-2 weeks at order is looking like 5weeks in reality! Hence I’m trying to prise an alternative out of Dr T (easier said than done) … did think of a duck popcorn maker to go with the candy floss maker but not sure if he likes popcorn (I have a feeling it’s a no) .. Then cancel the order and let him wait for ages for his next new toy. At this rate he will be getting the cheap (but rather useful in my eyes) part of his pressie & a card and nowt else on his birthday … however I might succeed the following day when we head a little east to the next county (ie Chichester) and find cider and I will have him there for ideas! (But of course that doesn’t mean he’ll show any interest!)

But this week out of work (and a little bit in) is being better as the dry run for the communications competition went well yesterday so no major panics before next Tuesday (other than getting lost in Winchester .. but that will be sorted hopefully at the weekend). So relaxation and flat sorting can be done .. tonight it being half term we’re finally having our xmas meal out for the leaders in the unit .. heading up to the wilds of Port Solent (formally known as ‘the tip’, hence the vents in the car park) later this evening.
