A new month a new post. Well Dr T has moved (but probably still not unpacked) house and now lives next door but 1 to a pub. The pub will be tested for cider & beer supplies on Friday… alas he’s not got a landline at the place so can’t do the Pinky trick of sitting in it with a cordless phone. So, because of this Dr T will finally be entering the mobile phone age (if only for months) with my former phone although he says he’ll use it like a landline … Maybe I can convince him its useful for when he’s delayed/ early on trains (hmm earlier with SWT, unlikely its usually the requisite 8mins late at the end of the journey).

This also means that this Friday I will be making the last of 3 consectutive weekends up north for the Scogui party on Saturday night where I shall no doubt be talking and drinking with a numbers of friends, before a walk on Sunday up Beacon Hill (‘cos its in the book I got for xmas) if the weather is decent. Then Joy of joys I have Monday on leave so for the first time ever Dr T has to put up with me getting the lie in and him having to go to work (and the returning with me no longer there).

In the meantime I have a tender to get out by the end of the week, and in the aim of improving things we’re going to try something new …. Tender on CD! We just have to get the go ahead from the head of legal for the return format and we should be OK! So its all very new and I’m actually getting exciting about somehting at work (the first time in ages!). I also think I’ve come to a conclusion on why I’ve been feeling the way I have about work, I’ve been ignored all the time as if I’m not there … I also got it at xmas from B&J so in actual fact its not been all work that caused it. I’ve had a couple of meetings to sort out work and I think the fact that in these meetings they’ve had to notice me has meant I’ve felt more positive about things .. but still very sceptical on whether what’s been promised will happen but at least I’m a bit happier (although still seem to be invisible to some people some of the time).

Better get on with the tender bits …. Or else I’ll have people complaining …
