So its Monday and another week stuck in the office ....

.. but the weekend was most enjoyable! I laughed lots and at things I've not laughed at for ages, that's what prolonged exposure to Dr T does to you ;). We had a lovely weekend with Chichester on Saturday followed by a lovely meal at a cider producer place with restuarant .... the restuarant was far more classy than expected but the food was superb. So good I debated about taking my parents out there when they come down but its a bit further than planned. I had extended Dr T due to the poor trains back due to engineering works which added to a most enjoyable weekend as I don't get to spend Sunday evenings with him very often.

Mind you he was also muttering about growing a beard ... I suspect to annoy me as he didn't seem so interested when I said his stubble was starting to flatten so didn't do the brio pad effect so much. So those heading to nearly Scotland (ie Lancaster Rally) next weekend let me know if he has rather long stubble (I doubt it somehow).

I also had some rather simple bedtime reading over the weekend in the form of the CSCS question book as I sat that today. Its similar to the Driving theory test (its done on the same computers as they are). I got more than the 34 out of 40 required on the multi-guess so I passed, just got to apply for a gold card (although this will hopefully change to a platinium card soon once I get more of a chance to manage people).
Staying on work we have the ICE Communication Competition tomorrow night .... last run through tomorrow morning. I have an embankment dam x-section to improve tonight (due to only MS Paint available to alter the base picture at work). Crossing the fingers we don't do too badly. We should have a small supporters group so that should help a bit (and may they heckle the others lots!)

So all in all a rather good weekend to help start the week off to a better start than usual....
