So I'm back from the Communications comp .. we didn't win but I think we were in the top 3 (of 5) which the judges were deliberating on. They took quite a while to decide so I think it was close on the result. Our presentation went well despite being the last to go (it was picked out the hat). We rushed a bit due to nerves which might have worked against us, but we didn't seem to have the hesitation and problems other groups did. I think our question answering was a little weak but hey everybody wanted to go home as it was 9:30pm and we'd all come from work.

So we kept face and have learnt from the experience, its made us grads gel better, something that was commented on that we seemed to gel well as a group... so definately a benefit. But it all means we ccan relax as we don't have to do it again and can let others suffer the nerves next year! it actually ended up being a very enjoyable evening if only by the farcical (but often appearing) questions that were posed by some of the older supporting engineers present!

Time for bed!
