What will 2008 hold?

2007 has finished and we have a fresh start in 2008...

It would seem so far so good... it looks like 2008 will prove interesting and hopefully with lots opportunities.

The Festive Tour of the South went well, lots of Diesel later and we unpacked on the evening of New Years Day. We spent time in both parental homes, and then a bunkhouse in the Brecons with members of BUSAG PMA for the New Year Trip. I'd not been to The Brecons before, and I have to say I rather like the place, but Snowdonia would still eek it out on the Wales front, but a much quieter place at New Year than the Lakes which was nice. I made it up Pen-y-Fan which please Dr T as that's what he wanted to do, we also took some lovely photos over the festive tour ... which no doubt will appear on our Flickr Accounts.

I rather like what has revived Planet Mad ... in a photo a day. I like the idea, but wonder if you would end up with lots of photos of shingle & concrete from what I took on site that day... I might go for the 1 a week option to lessen the concrete & shingle count!

In the meantime I'll see whether promises made at the end of 2007 workwise come through in 2008, but at least I'm starting it well with a conference in London at the end of the month ... the first time I've been allowed to stay away with work ... and its even in a part of London I vaguely know! I'm debating on a bit of late night terracotta army visit due to staying close by during the conference.

Hope your 2008 is looking as bright as mine is at the moment.

I started 2008 with an icky cold, which has progressed from my nose to my lungs. I hope the year doesn't continue like this...
