Thank Crunchie Its Friday!

Friday evening is here & crunchies are on Special offer in Tescos (99p for a bag of treat size).

We were naughty at work ... Krispy Kreme are opening up in December at our Tesco Extra and they were handing out dozen boxes for free today ... so Highways had to of course inspect some carriageway near the station and pick up some boxes ... many other sections also have coffee & doughnuts this morning! They are yummy but wouldn't pay how much they want for them (£1.10!), it reminded me of Tim Hortons in Canada... but Timmy's is much nicer!

Tomorrow is County Day (well more morning, we only have half a day of training followed by AGM) ... I've sorted out various bits for the Senior Section display, mainly as I'm computer literate enough to know how microsoft sorts files ...so Streamline (GGUK electronic future where we do census and forms online ...) is going to work sooo well! I didn't get on the Safe from Harm hoop jumping training (it seems we're odd in this county where they make us do a training on it....) other counties put it in with appropriate training so I've got by-law bashing with other Commissioners.

Then Sunday is a bit of a sort out get bits day ... and maybe a bit of guidebook reading. Anybody have any suggestions for Cologne (aka Koeln)?

...we were watching our recorded Gadget Show ... which had the iPhone on. Dr T's comment (new recipient of a compact digital camera) on the £269 price tag, £60 for the phone & £210 for the apple logo. Given the review it sounds not far off the mark ... not that great on the features, but it looks pretty. I however will be sticking with a basic but dropable phone as provided by work.
