In the News ...

The end of our road has been in the news of late....

We were woken up with a bit of a campfire smell due to this at 0130hrs on Monday.

.... looked out the window, didn't see much around the aformentioned flats, but thought its was the pub across the road.

Then last night I couldn't get into our road ... Police cordon ... so long route to the Brownie meeting I had to go for CRB paperwork at the end of the road ... so near, yet so far around the cordon. Cordon was still there at 7pm when I came back from the Guide/ Scout Depot ... they were investigating the fire as they suspected arson.

The today we have this news so things have moved fast, and why the cordon lasted a while as they needed the ladder fire truck for access.
