New Glasses?

Today I booked my now due eye test ... which is free :) as I seem to have returned to the same place enough times. It also hase 10% new glasses included in it (not that I'll necessarily get the glasses in the same place).

Now my 'work' glasses nice and framless as they are have cracks in the lenses around the fixings (it seems I have too good eyesight for my hingless glasses, Dr T doesn't have this issue ... well other than if you bend the bridge and then go and brake them!) so its only a matter of time before they go.

I have my funky 'weekend' purple glasses, which I thought were OK for work ... but on first trip to the office I found that they are too short as the top of the frame cuts across my view when using the computer at work (or is that what you get for a 21" screen?). It likely these are the ones you've seen me on camping trips/ SAGGA events as they can be folded (the hingless glasses really annoy on that front, hence the decision to get and inexpensive funky coloured pair that folded to go in shoes!)

So I'm thinking of getting some new glasses suitable for work ... hmm but what style do I go for? Metal or Plastic? I don't think I'll go framless again, although have seen a hinged pair I quite liked. I want to have slightly funky, but not sure if it suits me. Rectangular is the way to go I think shapewise ... and that's as far as the decisions have gone.
