Happy Bunny
I am a happy bunny this afternoon, the sun is shining I have a nice wind down to leave for SAGGA Summer Camp with a Dive Inspection (someone else dives for me, I make the notes from what they say through the comms unit {we do commercial diving not SCUBA}). My sites finish this week, leave cover finishes tomorrow morning so I can get through my every growing in-tray pile. Public pat on the back for the first person to say on the comments box what SCUBA stands for ...
I'm also going to be amazing with my right arm on Wednesday, by giving half of it to those nice people at the National Blood Service before it gets too cold (I'm a 1 arm only, warm weather type of donor). Squash and Biscuits afterwards of course. I'm sure our ex-service (we're now meant to be a big happy directorate family) will top the list for pints of red stuff donated out of the council ... we usually do! It's really not that scary (I never look near the nurse at needle time!) or painful (the worst bit is the pin-prick at the start to check you're OK to donate). That said the pin cushion Bangla trip cured me of any needle phobia I once had.
Dr T therefore will be able to have lots of lie ins this long weekend without the disruption of me getting up for work/ housework. He might even get loads of his dissertation done ;).
P.S. The rocket launcher is travelling north for us not so little kids to have fun with ...

I gave blood too the other day but ended up with a trainee who put the needle in upside down!
No-one is reading my blog no more :-(
I read your blog the other day ... but you hadn't updated it!
Besides they're all off camping!
Hmmm am I just strange knowing what SCUBA stands for? Dr T didn't know what it stood for.
He he Dr T gets an alarm call of my parents on Sunday morning as they travel down to Portsmouth Anglican Cathedral (we have 2 cathedrals to choose from) for the morning service where their church choir are singing all week. Depending on how busy am might try to get down for evensong tonight as they're sing that tonight and tomorrow (but hopefully I'm doing Orange Wednesday again). My mum is being good to me and dropping off the beer festival glass I left behind when we visited.
