We've returned our constituencies so I'm back home, got the beeb on for a bit of election fest...

No change on parties so still Lib Dem for Portsmouth South (which I was counting) and Labour for Portsmouth North. South seemed to be a spat between the current incumbent and the Conservative candidate (Caroline Dineage) .. which all passed me by as all the paper went in recycling!

I'm amazed that so few South East contituencies have returned yet. We thought we were slow (lots of verfication counting due to horrible shiny paper that stuck a bit) but once the sorting started (which is what I was mainly doing) it went quickly. Thank goodness we had no re-count like in Guidford (that must be so disheartening ... mind you there was less than 1000 I think on the North result).

Time for bed I feel ... back to work later this morning!
