It being half term we have escaped the yellow blobs for the evenin so to replace this the Guiders went out for a much delayed social! We went te-mex this time (yummy enchilladas for me, although the fatjas looks extremely yummy that the YG opposite me (who had lots of 'hairdresser' moment over the night, she's not blonde...) followed by a few beverages in a close by pub (the former police station for the area). We then got a taxi back with a rather amusing taxi driver ...

The dialogue in the car went like this
Taxi Driver (TD) So have you had a good night out?
Us: Yes, its was rather good
TD: So do you go out every Tuesday night together
Us: Not usually, well actually I suppose we do as we spend 1.5 hours together every tuesday evening, along with 20 odd kids. We run a Brownie Pack together.
TD: So how do you actually know each other
Us: We do really run a Brownie pack together!
TD: Cool, so I guess this is a bit of Team Building, enjoyment.
Us: Yep, I suppose so. Mainly we're a social lot and this is the only chance we get to chat to each other!!!

LOL I think he was little shocked to find that group of people as hip & trendy and social as us run things like Brownie packs!!!!

Oh well next meeting is Sunday morning before we let ourselves in for taking 14 yellow blobs on the hovercraft over to IOW Ice Skating!!! I'm looking forward to the Ice Skating but not necessarily the blobs on the ice bit. 2 of our less than co-oprative blobs are in the party which should make it interesting. We've also proved a point as I'm sure we'd not have 14 turn up for Church Parade this sunday, despite them having to leave their houses at the same time for both.
