Oh my, I've had a rather exciting text message frenzy for 3/4 hr whilst purchasing both Caz and Brownie supplies just earlier. The texts were from one of my best mates (who is due here later for a bit of dinner), whose wife (also a best mate of mine) has been admitted for monitoring at the maternity hospital for Pompey (just up the road, hence his car is parked around the corner from me after the parking ran out) when she went for the last scan today! The baby isn't due for another 3 weeks but we'll see what happens. I think the monitoring is for mum not baby .... but still crossing fingers toes etc.

Before all this excitment started I had a long weekend with the first leave of the year on Friday. We saw the Magic Roundabout movie. It was OK but just not the same with computer animation rather than the traditional Magic Roundabout style, I felt of the stars lending their voices that Lee Evans was the best one as the Little Engine, the animation and voice seemed to match more.
The rest of the weekend was spent sleeping, sleeping some more and general chillin'. A mighty good weekend all in all (even if I did forget the N&I deadline due to my happiness for the weekend starting early!).

Better sort out a bundle of Brownie letters on various things before soon to be dad arrives (earliest leave time is 1830hrs due to lost blood sample, so redone!).
