Dr T comments following the second part of my last post ...
I just don't think it's right to go somewhere where you don't speak the language and expect the locals to accomodate you. And you know the standard of my GCSE French!
FYI the standard of his French Speaking is cringeworthy (he claims to have a higher grade in it than me). Imagine as you will Dr T speaking in his usual accent but the words coming out are french ... you get my gist?
On other matters I'm not a happy bunny as my mouth is not good and hurting ... time to find a dentist I'm not related to or friends with the aforementioned relative ... its scary for me! Think I've found an NHS one pretty local to me.... but although it became more bearable earlier its turning painful again .... I really hate the bits of gum around/over my lower right wisdom tooth. I hope its not going to mean antibiotics as I want to drink some nice NZ wine at the weekend when I have my LOTR/ NZ reunion weekend in London come Friday. ... So probably to my mother's horror I'm drinking some beer to try and deaden it a bit (as well as some other things to help).
