As requested by Dr Tom he will have a new post to look at when he next logs in ... and I've even updated my links!
Well this weekend has been rather a social one for the both of us ... it started with dinner at The Customs House in Gunwharf Quays before heading off to Bowlplex to join some fellow SAGGA members & Soton SSAGO for the first Solent SAGGA meeting. Although it was rather Soton SSAGO bias I think a fun time was had by all. I ended up winning the game and having the highest score by on the last round by getting a strike and then a spare .. 111 followed by tied in 2nd on 110 by Tom M & Si Bubb and 4th was Dr T on 99 ..... so a bit of a SAGGA zone there. Winter weekend is shaping up ... look out for news and ideas for more on both these things!
.. but the night hadn't finished as we then went onto a late night showing of LXG so finally got into the flat at just before 1am.
Not content with spending enough time in a darkened room we saw Matrix Revolutions this afternoon .. we've come out with differing views on it. I felt it was entertaining but I preferred the 2nd film whereas Dr T preferred this one.
We also visited the Cash & Carry for Tom's benefit (alcohol, sweets & wheat crunchies!) and 2 visits to tesco with my now ex- Red Hot Chilli Peppers CD, I swopped it first time to see if it was a glinch on my car CD player ... nope its the copy protection on it means you can't play it properly on my car CD ... so I've got a refund and maybe will treat myself to another CD.
Hmmm this weekend is turning out to be a very nice one (I've yet to cook as we had lunch/dinner at Lloyds No.1) ... well needed as we've not had the chance to spend a weekend together without company in well over a month!
Tomorrow hopefully it doesn't rain as I fancy a walk along the seafront ...
