Well the weekend is over and whilst PH work has not been high on the agenda due to partying and socialising with friends it has left me in the the right frame of mind for the last slog towards PH.
Saturday saw me play with the turbos on my new car whilst overtaking on the way to Chichester ... boy is this engine fun! (FYI my di is in red which is the decent new common rail VW turbo diesel engine). I love Chichester these days as an escape from Portsmouth and big city shopping. Its more homely I guess as its Canterbury without the tourist and gift shops but with some extra shops (like Lakeland (formally Plastics now Limited) which i made some purchases in .... including my first xmas pressie).
Then it was a bit of housework & PH bits before my friends Mel & Will visiting Chez Caz for pizza, wine and party dressing intrupted with a short car journey by me to my friend Sam for her to see the wagon and her to slap on the war paint before she escaped to the pub to set it up for her b'day party (with a friend). We joined her soon after and spent a fine night listening to loud music (of the alt goth type which wasn't quite as bad as I thought it would be ... I quite liked it) and drinking pints of fine ales ... before a stagger back to Chez Caz (where I got my own back on Dr T by sending him a drunken e-mail).
Then today I went for a nice woodland stroll around Queen Elizabeth Country Park, followed by a nice snackette for lunch before returning. In the words of Will 'I take it you wish to drive there?' silly boy of course I did! But then he went home in 'The Beast' (a 3.0litre V8 disco) via the petrol station to spend a fourtune!
