Went over to one of my Yahoo! Groups and came across a post with this website 'Your not Me' so typed in my name and found out there are 4 other people in the UK with my name so in their words I'm 'rarer than a Wombat's wingnut'. However Dr T's name has 843 others dotted about the UK so he's 'like a rare bird lost and pecking at nuts'. Maybe there are good reasons to have a surname that isn't that popular ... even if it gets spelt wrongly every so often ... currently DEFRA (or more specfically MCEU) are writing to me as Miss Bardford even though I had to write my name on numerous occasions for their deposit at sea licences in capitals so its clear! This was a new one for me, but still the best is Miss Bathford which one Becca's teaching practice pupils called her! (No doubt Miss Barford rolled her eyes at the child and informed him of his mistake)
