Well after having the meeting earlier about the removal/ installation of the new linkspan down here on site I not quite a chirpy as I was before it. This is mainly because I'm now working this weekend when the majority of the removal bits are happening, but am now free the following weekend as they are just going through commissioning bits then. So this means I'm currently feeling really guilty about having to cancel my weekend with Dr T (which is where I'd rather be despite getting OT for the work which will go to NZ) and now had to rejig bits because I can now make the Cov Beer Festival ... I would just like to be able to plan something and it stays that way for more than a couple of days .... Well at least I get to escape it all for 3 weeks in 23days! (and boy will I need to escape site then!)

So if you are feeling nice and in the Leicestershire area on Saturday (or the few preceeding days) feel free to take my place as a drinking partner and take the Dr to the Leicester Beer festival (and try the White Dolphin which I'll be missing. Hmph!). In the meantime I shall try not to get too pissed off that my weekend up north is not happening this weekend now because I'm working .... and write up the minutes of the meeting which was very long!
