It still sunny here, I still just about smiling through all the work that has to be sorted by the end of the month... my main want at the moment is to eat my dinner at a reasonable time and have time to appreciate it, this alas has not happened this week between the combination of work and Guiding that has made this week busy. I think I might get the chance Friday. Tonight its an ICE meeting after work in scenic Hedge End (home to Cotwolds :) ... which is the time wasting place for the more youthful members of my section if we get there early due to good traffic!) .... I guess I'll wave at the A3024 junction for Dr T as I pass it! The topic of the meeting is the tunnel they are going to build under the entrance to Portsmouth Harbour for the LRT we will eventually get. They've had to lower it as we're getting some bigger aircraft carriers .... and due to land restraints this will mean a steep slopes ... I'm starting to think funiculars! (of which Lyon has a fine example ... alright I confess, I love Lyon's public transport system!).

Yesterday was a really thrilling day between a Concrete Techology course (and I DON'T love concrete even though I'm a Civil despite what Mech Engs think!) that ended late and a district meeting in the evening my day was full of excitment, not! So I have the backlog from yesterday to sort out as well .... which I have already seemed to have got through .... onto other matters now, like paying accounts.

Starting to think about all things NZ in a major way as we have the meet up of the team at CHQ on Saturday .... hopefully no dragons will be present! I have my doubts on one but hopefully I'll be proved wrong (and if I'm not there are enough people on the conference/ tour that I can avoid her if needs be). The oldest is the same age as mum (and hopefully the same attitude) and I'm the youngest ... so watch this space after Sat! It also means I get to go to Big London Town so will be making essential purchases that have been required for some time but I haven't quite got around to (and a visit to Brick Lane and the 24hr Bagel shop ... and maybe a browse in the material shop in the BanglaTown end).

So until then I shall look a bit more at my sludgy dredge material and the general excavations and dust from site .... but at least the sun is still out ... and I will be in Singapore in a month's time on the way to NZ!
