... and relax

The past week has been manic at work, both from the hours I’ve had to work and other hassles that weren’t really needed. Fortunately after Friday lunchtime the weather improved dramatically, saving me from being consumed with nerves and constant thoughts of weather patterns. I’ve been the whole of my department & management for most of last week, so with a major bit of site work on as well I’ve ended up rather frazzled. Those in the Solent SAGGA area may have seen the hassle factor …

But the tides have passed, I can get a normal night’s sleep again; until the next month. Hopefully next month we can get on with things as usual, rather than have other parties getting involved and making a storm in a teacup. At least I have my weekends back again for another month.

So I’m not in the best shape for Brownies tonight (general lack of sleep, I suppose it might come of use one day) but at least I’m not running the meeting (so I hopefully will get the chance to sort out the first stuff for EuroDisney, that’s the plan I doubt it will come to fruition!).

..remind me to take the weekend off next year …

It would also seem we have a couple of people who had a somewhat more enjoyable and happy weekend than me … Congratulations to them (even if they are rather fuzzy with the details, we’ve hopefully guessed correctly). Alas that still passes me by, one day it might happen, but I don’t hold out much hope in the future. It would be nice to have a long term plans, but that’s somewhat out of my hands without action from another party, but that requires them to make decisions and it seems for something to happen around here it requires me to make the decisions. That said it would also be nice to feel part of a couple in social situations at times, that's the first hurdle I'm still trying to get over.
