Umm and arrh

I’m early in the thought process in a bit of dilemma … do I want to move a bit further north, leave the south coast for quite a few more pennies but a lot more driving/ less of a social life/ probably no unit guiding? The move would be to the land of concrete cows looking at inland watery stuff over the South East (so way more than the 5 mile round trip to the port!). This I’m guessing would lead to not being able to make it to a Brownie unit every week …so I guess I’d have to go down the Lone route, probably for BGIFC. No seafront walks when we want (that would be a toughie, sea has been a max. of 8 miles away so far in my life), but I would be closer to the Midlands where I seem to be driving to all to often!

Its a change, a significant bit more money … but is it really worth it for leaving behind a pretty settled life here on the south coast with good social life within less than an hour’s driving time, and leaving behind the thing that keeps me going when things are pants at work … Brownies (both the girls and leadership team). Also to be frank I can’t really see me driving around the country loads, my idea of hell is being stuck in motorway jams (I’ve done it on the M25 once too often, and that’s not that often). But it is quite a lot more money (seems to be good prospects) .. and possible at the mo as Dr T is still without employment. I've got until the 3rd November to decide.
