Guten Tag?

Lurge II – return of the lurge … just when I thought I was getting rid of wedding lurge it decided to dump its return attack on me … lots of aching like an old woman and flu-like shivers yesterday. So I wasn’t at my best last night for Brownies, so good job I didn’t really need to do much. Today it seems to be the snotfest side of the return. Mind you it could be more a morphing of one lurge into another … with our germ air circulation systems its not outside the realms of possibility (hence you want to spend winters on site to be healthy).

Talking of the delightful yellow blobs we seem to be having a badge fest going on at the moment! A few of them have got the badge book for birthdays etc. so want to earn the badges! We have 2 cooks in progress and 2 booklovers to be completed! 1 of the booklovers has come out of the recent summer holiday reading festival/ challenge run by the city libraries; I’m sure some more the girls did it so we might be having a run on booklover badges!

Oh and if you’re wondering why the german title, see Si J’s blog … hmm I have urges once more to visit the land of schwartzwalde kirsch torte, sahnetorte, with a odd sausage roll Bernkastel style (sausage with a bit of pasty to hold the sausage with), maybe washed down with a bit of local produce (Mosel Valley wines). Hmm how can Caz convince Tom he wants to go too?

Mulled wine's okay; I'm sure she's seen me drinking it on several occasions. I seem to remember buying a bottle from Lidl last year, which I ended up drinking most of.

More semi-precious (amerthyst, agates, quartz) than diamonds (but the museum did have a large one on display I seem to remember!
