The Silver Screen

Last night we took advantage of orange Wednesdays once more and headed to the cinema for ‘Wallace & Gromit – Curse of the Were-Rabbbit’. For this you actually get a short film beforehand (like in the old days …) which features the ‘Madagascar’ penguins at Xmas (arrh its too early!!!). Anyway by far and away the most amusing bit for me (and bonus points for the more observant film-goers) was the brand of Egg Nod present, for the brand was Dr T. Now the real Dr T (well my one, there’s another TM lurking as a photographer in the current NatWest ad) claims never to have made Egg Nog, and not likely ever to as he dislikes eggs (amongst other things) so you won’t have Dr T’s Egg Nog around here.

As for the film itself, I found myself laughing along to the jokes like many of the audience. Hmm best bit … I found Hutch amusing, loved the bunnies floating around in the bun-vac (I know that was done with CGI ..). LOL at the red baron dogfight (literally). Like with Chicken run there’s the amusing film quotes and adult jokes … which I find amusing; but no 1 thing really stood out. A Good night out with lots of chuckles.

… next week we go orange with Corpse Bride, if its anywhere near as good as Nightmare Before Christmas (currently out on loan from TWM DVD Library) we’re in for a treat.
