Back at work and not a lot has changed, I have the document back from checking which is good, although I can’t do the amendments at the mo as the document has been produced (by typing) on older programme which have only on 1 computer in the section which has a full time occupant on! I’ve got to hope he finishes early (which he does quite often as he’s an early bird) so I can hop on it.
The rest of the break away from work was nice. Monday was Chichester and the Seafront, Tuesday was town/ lunch and Gunwharf/ Historic dockyard area. Whilst at the seafront I played with my new toy taking a movie of the hovercraft leaving from the seafront for Ryde. It was rather nice to spend some quality time with my sister, and my sister only! I think Dr T was rather miffed at having to go off to a lecture whilst we perused Gunwharf and socialised … now he knows how I feel when I leave for work and he’s just got up! Mind you having spent this time with her it’s very definite that the types of person we are a merging apart as I feel she definitely trying keep up with the Jonses (unlike the way we were brought up); whereas Dr T are are just laid back about most things and put not being in debt/ saving high on our list of priorities. At least she didn’t really try to treat me like one of her school kids (but that might have been because she was in the minority and I had the back up!). What really got me was her saying its fine to spent a load of money on a expensive meal out (whilst we were having lunch with a friend in JDW) but then a couple of hours later moan about the price of a pair of boots in Gunwharf, when I know from my own shopping she's not likely to find some of the quality and type she wants for less (so she didn't buy them and will probably spend more to get a similar pair!) as another shop has run down the bargin deal they had so had none in her size.
On Saturday I have a trip to London planned for item variados which I’m looking forward to, although no Dr T as he’s not interested in big London Town so won’t go. I’m umming and arrghing on a visit to the Museum of Childhood in Bethnal Green… but I think it will be down to time.
In the meantime I need to find stuff to do in the period left of my 3 day week!
