The weekend is over and its back to the grindstone.

We didn't see Shrek 2 in the end as we'd stayed to watch the end of the women's final and not booked any tickets .. they only had single seats on the 2 showings we were interested in and weren't going to wait 2 hours for the one after that. Maybe we'll see it sometime soon.

Sunday saw head a little west of here for a sunday lunch to celebrate Dr T's Granny's birthday, so we also saw his bro & co. Dr T's niece caused me much amusment as she was rather puzzled when we arrived as Tom & I were there, She'd remembered us visiting them at her house, but we were now at her granny's house (she's was 2 weeks old last time this happened so unlikely to remember!). She seemed to think we'd magically appeared again. She wasn't really convinced that I'd driven us there as her dad told her. It did amuse me somewhat as she was really puzzled ... the wonder of toddlers!

Tonight is an early night as I have an early morning appointment (0730) with some concrete and the Round Tower (ie the entrance to Portsmouth Harbour) as we're doing the first phase of the extended apron. It's tidal working hence the early start ... the only down point of working in the wet! But by the end of play tomorrow I should have an afternoon of leave in the bank on Flexileave.
