The jury is out ...

... and I didn't get the job. I came a close 2nd but the chosen person just had more experience than me.

Not a massive surprise as that's the thing that would pip me to the post... but I surprised the interviewing panel a bit as they were impresssed at how well I'd interviewed! It seems I pulled everything out the bag, but it just wasn't quite enough.

It maybe came a bit too soon, but the ambition has been noted and once chartered I should be a good position to get such jobs. So we shall see what the future holds in the meantime.
