Love & Marriage ...

This weekend I spent (and survived) the company of my sister & bro in law who are old marrieds, then Sunday with a load of really old marrieds (ie my parents and their friends/ rellies). This along with a very imminent marriage of TWMII & AAA (1.5 weeks to go!) and the planning stages of Mad & Rob. Are we going to end up being the only ‘living in sin’ couple?

That said Dr T isn’t going to rush into marriage, as he’s not a man to be rushed about things (he prefers a bit of apathy), although he has muttered recently that when the time comes he would ask me (and not the other way round). He’s survived 2nd encounters with extended family at the weekend (ie Dad’s cousin); although was overshadowed (unsurprisingly) by BIL. I did notice that my mum introduced him as "Caroline’s Boyfriend Tom", obviously she can’t bring herself to say ‘Partner’ … mum we are living in sin now and have been for over a year! Dr T was on the quiet side at the meal for Dad’s birthday (ooh I want to do all you can drink Champers from 1230hrs to 1430hrs again!), but compared to BIL everyone is quiet (yes even me!) … did notice my sister trying to control and tame him again.
