I have returned from the wedding ... And survived!
So, my sister is a married woman, people loved Dr T and all except 1 thing went as planned... I ended up being one of the witnesses (along with my now bro-in-law's sister) after finding out from my mum on the way down to the post reherasal dinner! My sister was meant to have spoken to me about this detail .. but as ever hadn't. She was also being of the 1 exception on things going to plan! She ended up being a slightly (10min) late bride into the church despite being early into the churchyard ... having forgotton to pick up her bouquet from the dining room table! Enter a Captain of the British Army! (aka an usher and actually an ex- of sister) One dash back, a hold up in roadworks so changed a delve through the undergowth to the rear of my parents house followed by going over the their wire fence and dah dah the bouquet made it to the church! My mum's comment was " what did I tell her not to forget!" The Bride's comment on the realisation of lack of bouquet (when the photographer was going to take the pic before entering) was (as reported by aforementioned usher) "Oh Sh*t!" Alas my mum has to explain to Moss Bros these antics tomorrow and no doubt have to pay some money (so my sister will be teased for many a month about this).
My reading (Corinthians 13) went very well although lead to a general lack of appetiate and decent sleep due to nerves ... I managed to be more shakey afterwards rather than before! Everyone said I had read it wonderfully (and it seemed to go OK and I think they weren't being just nice). I also had comments on the fact that I wore a dress! It was good to see (the very small) extended family I have and the majority of them met Tom (who then got a bit of spanish inquestion (?sp) from them) ... and for a change it was a wedding rather than a funeral (which has been the reason to meet up for many of the previous get together).
I didn't catch the infamous bouquet ... so Dr T's off the hook for a while longer! Oh and Becca did look rather pretty in her dress (and the barn dance was rather good as well!)
That's enough wedding talk ... I'm off to do a bit more broadband surfing!

Corrinthians 13 is a bit... standard.
I know, I didn't choose it. It seemed to lack inspiration in choice
