Today I had a slightly unexpected escape from the office as I was doing site cover on Old Portsmouth. I thought it was tomorrow that my colleague was on leave and not today. He’d tried to contact me but I’d managed to lose my mobile somewhere in my site kit Ikea bag and only re-found it this morning (I assumed I’d left it in the Site Office as I’d searched the bag about 3 times!)
Anyway this cover allowed me to be outside a bit more than usual, not be hassled (a major plus) and sort a bit of ICE stuff out as I was also minus a computer (which leads to a bit of withdrawal symptoms) so could only scribble on the as-built details on a scheme I’m sorting out some drawing on.

Since my return from Kent I’ve started to clear things out in a bid to provide Dr T with room to store/ have his things in the flat. My mum is looking forward to the DVD player they will be inheriting due to the move in (so I think they will be borrowing my sister’s collection soon).
Dr T also got in my dad’s good books at the weekend by showing him how to burn a CD to archive stuff, no doubt come Wedding Weekend (11days and counting) he’ll be gaining more Brownie Points (not that they exist anymore).

Before Dr T moves in I need to eat up the contents of my rather full freezer as most food I’ve cooked and frozen is contaminated (in Dr T’s view) with onion & mushrooms (which he claims are the spawn of Satan, personally I thought they were just tasty fungi). …ooh I’m rather looking forward to living in sin!
