So I returned from the SAGGA AGM. I think the answer to these things is not to take too seriously ... but this being SAGGA there were some people there who had to comment on eveything although also a good number of people of similiar mind in not taking the minor things too seriously.
However, (I said this a deep breath and paused) I have come away with the future of having a bit more paper in the new flat along with seeing Mad & Claire a bit more often as I was some what co-erced into being the Registrar for the next 2 years. We shall see what happens but I'm not to unduely worried about this. This appointment along with a change of treasurer to Andy means there's a rather a gascit crowd there. Hmm hope Dr T is just 'fine' with this job .... however Claire did say I could blame her for getting the job! (But I still had to tell Dr T what I did at the weekend).

Mind you my eurohike tent is now rather on the dead side. I put it up on the Friday when I found 1 of the pole a bit split ... and took it down today to find a 2nd (of 3) poles with a split and the metal pointy bit at the end crumbling away. Looks like I'll have to work out how to put up Dr T's Vango ;)
