Hmm
Last Friday as the sun shone, I was after the first ice cream of the season when at work ... but I resisted the Sallyport Ice cream van.
Came back to the office and the ice cream pangs were still there... only one thing for it, leave early pop into Asda on the way home and get a tub of Ben & Jerry's as a bank holiday treat. So I plumped for 'Bohemian Raspberry' and prompted got the spoon out and did some consuming before Dr T (who wasn't finishing early) got home. It was very yummy and a good start for the weekend!
I wondered if the following Friday wether I should do cake or ice cream ... but it will be Birthday Cakes as its certainly not ice cream weather around here. Hopefully it stop raining by tomorrow night so I get a decent birthday fire as we've heading off to a local campsite for a bit of service on the weekend.
If you haven't twigged I've come back from the US with a bit of a B&J love! I'm not really a huge lover of ice cream (other than a friday afternoon site visit Mr Whippy) so a tub of B&J every so often as a treat won't break the bank. Just got to decide when the next dip into the tub occurs (I think this weekend sometime), next choice is Caramel Chew Chew which I had as free cone (but was called Triple Caramel ...).

Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Phish Food are my personal favourites...
I see a chocolate theme here James. I'm not really a chocolate ice cream lover (I leave that to Dr T who recommends Lidl Chocolate Ice cream) but do like Phish Food but maybe its the fish and marshmallows rather than the ice cream. I want to know if the UK will get the 10 anniversary version with chocolate cows in as well!
Oh well I'm rumbled! I'm off the B&J ice cream at the moment and more on the Skinny Cow stuff. Just as nice without any of the fat which stops the guilt trips these days!
We've had some Skinny Cow here too, I think its the mint choc ones that were most favoured...
