Mascot Kidnapping update...

The ransom has been posted and Southampton SSAGO have taken notice (with a bit of help from one of the co-nappers). So they are currently eating their way through the wrong coloured smarties to provide us with a tube of Blue and Yellow ones (the Pompey Colours, the Soton rivals) along with a written postcard of Southampton.

These days they have no imagination for ransoms in SSAGO, its often things like eating a can of cold baked beans or a game of chubby bunnies. No thought required there.

Hence as its SAGGA they got a ransom of the style of my SSAGO days. Hence the written postcard of Southampton, as to get the CUSAG duck we had to supply (I think BUSAG) with 2 written postcards of Bath (it was the Bath Rally) and a Sally Lunn bath bun; it made for a good alternative to the programmed wide game as we dodged the various bases to get our ransom sorted. The particular colour tube of smarties was for another masccot, that we didn't compete for. p

In the meantime, we'll take Phil the Dolphin up the tower with us later today; maybe he'll see his Dolphin friends who've taken to visiting the Harbour quite a bit of late. TWMII wants us to get a pic of Phil in a Pompey Shirt, its tempting so we'll see if we can get that sorted, after all we're already press ganged him into the Navy.
