I have a confession to make .... I went and spent money at Amazon when I should be saving my pennies for NZ ... but I await the arrival of the Roksopp (?sp) album and Red Dwarf I dvd with great anticipation among other things (well got to take them up on the free delivery with £39 orders!)

On an even better note my dad has battled with technology to e-mail me questions to finish my big quiz to raise some more of the wonga for the trip. Its great having the king of Canterbury Wine & Wisdoms in the family! Quiz starts to go on sale from the weekend of the Lufbra Rally (aka 14/2/03) ..... and you never know one day we might even get some money for the trip from CHQ (who have p*ssed off {but I'm sure that not their wording} a lot of regional international advisors about this trip and their lack of support! Hmm they are due a bit of a flame!)

On another note various boards/ blog raise the subject of the shuttle disintigration ... hmm it did seem almost surreal seeing the shuttle display at the science museum yesterday after the events of the previous day. The mood in the area was very quiet and sombre (but I don't know if the low lighting added to that). The item that particularly made me think was a tile from the underside of a shuttle along with some of the material that burns up on re-entry that was above it.
