Today's weather it seems has either been drizzle or rain ... but being a non-fairweather engineer (who left her waterproof trousers and rigger boots at her other site) I now have trousers which are damp from the bottom to mid calf level and to join it I have a lovely wet patch on my thigh from my coat dripping. At least the large amount of mud I had attached to the bottom of my boots got walked off on the way back to my lovely container site office. It times like this that a 100% office job has a certain appeal ...nah it wouldn't last I'd have to escape after a while! Lets hope its not like this tomorrow as I have to work some hours :( but I type this happy in the knowledge that I'm now working onto the end the 2nd day of flexileave for summer camp .... so by the time I start work again on Monday I will be on the start of the build up for yet another day's leave .... mind you some OT would be nicer but they haven't got the money for it on this site so Flexi it is for the mo ....

I'm not doing the first aid course on Sunday as my name wasn't put on the list as I wasn't at the last district meeting (due to being in NZ at the time, a little far to come back for it) so I have that free and have the hassle of trying to find another course ... and I seem to think I was one of the people who suggested it in the first place! So I'm debating on whether to go to Power in the Park, its a bit teeny with the line up but I wouldn't mind seeing Mel C ... I think I shall see what the weather is like on the day.

Other thoughts on my mind for this weekend's activities are to clean out the inside and boot of the car of rubbish and hoover up all the site debris in the driver's footwell prior to summer camp, to add some colour to my hair so that Dr T doesn't make so many grey hair comments from his lofty heights (he has them too!), tidy up the bedroom ... wow what an exciting weekend I have planned (not!) ... and anyway you'll be lucky if half of that gets done knowing me!
